Oyo State Government, on tuesday reopened it's schools for serious academic activities for the second term, 2021/2022 session.

The States' Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology,, Barrister Rahman, Abiodun Abdu- Raheem, in the company of the Permanent Secretary, Alhaja Amina ,B Atere and all Directors in the Ministry, monitored various schools in Ibadan, the State capital.

Barrister Abdu- Raheem expressed his satisfaction with the turnout of students and teachers,as teaching and learning commenced in all schools monitored by the team.

The Honourable Commissioner expressed his satisfaction over the level of COVID 19 compliance by the various schools.

Barrister Abbu-Raheem ,who personally observed the teaching and learning session advised teachers, to consider the individual differences in the students during teaching and to explain topics more , through demonstrations and use of instructional aids in class.

He  admonished the school Principals and their Vices to monitor teachers in classrooms to achieve effective teaching and learning processes.

Some of the schools visited included : St Gabriel Community Secondary School, Mokola, Ibadan, St Louis Grammar, School, Oba Akinbiyi Model College,, Mokola, Bashorun High School, Ibadan and host of others.
