Makinde Approves Hazard Allowance For OYRTMA Officers

Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has given his approval for hazard allowance for personnel of the Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA).

The Governor announced that the approval will take effect from 1 August 2024. He made this statement at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Iseyin on Monday, 29 July, during the passing-out parade of the newly recruited 500 OYRTMA personnel.

According to Governor Makinde, the approval recognizes the agency’s achievements in road management across the state. He stated that the allowance would serve as a morale booster, encouraging greater effectiveness and efficiency in their work.

The Governor reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of the state workforce, assuring that his administration will continue to prioritize the well-being of its workers.

“I heard your request for hazard allowance, and it’s approved with effect from 1st of August, 2024,” Makinde said.
