Olubadan: Ladoja, Olubadan-In-Council, Others Attend Coronation Thanksgiving Service

The thanksgiving service for the newly crowned Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, saw the attendance of notable Nigerians, including former Oyo state governor and Otun Olubadan, Rashidi Ladoja, the Olubadan-in-council, President-General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Barr. Ajeniyi Ajewole, and President of Ibadan Mogaji’s, Mogaji Asimiyu Ariori.

According to the NATION, the service, held on Sunday at the Cathedral Church of St. Peters, Aremo, Ibadan, attracted dignitaries from various sectors, including traditional rulers, politicians, and religious leaders.

In his remarks, Rt. Rev. Rotimi Aladekugbe, Bishop of the Ibadan North Anglican Diocese, urged Oba Olakulehin to use his new position to promote peace, unity, and development in Ibadanland.

He prayed for wisdom, guidance, and strength for the monarch as he embarked on his reign.

In his address, Oba Olakulehin expressed his gratitude to God for the opportunity to serve as the Olubadan and committed to working tirelessly for the progress and prosperity of his people.

He also thanked the people of Ibadanland for their support and cooperation during his coronation process.
The new Olubadan was accompanied to the service by his children and other members of the royal family.

The service featured hymns, prayers, and thanksgiving, as well as a special hymn in honour of the new monarch.

The thanksgiving service marked the end of the coronation activities of Oba Olakulehin, who was crowned the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
