Oyo House Of Reps Member Is Dead

Prince Olaide Akinremi, a member of the House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, is dead.

Akin Akinwale, an All-Progressives Congress chieftain announced the death of Hon Akinremi this morning on social media.

Before his death, Akinremi was the chairman of the House Committee on Science Research Institutes.

His last post on X, dated July 7, read:” I join all Muslim Ummah in Ibadan North Federal Constituency and across the globe in welcoming the Islamic new year Hijrah 1446 AH.

” The gift of life and the grace of passing through days, months, and years remains an important reason for us to always appreciate Almighty Allah.

” More so, in this new Islamic year and always, it remains vital for us to continue on the path of adherence to Islamic tenets and ways of life. We should strive to become better versions of ourselves, doing good always.

” May the year ahead be filled with happiness, peace, and Almighty Allah’s blessings, Ameen.”
